The Baby Project
Each student will get to experience what it is like to care for an infant for a day. A permission slip and contract are to be signed by student and parent in order to complete the assignment.
The project consists of four parts:
1. Take and Return of the baby with all items on time and in the condition it was given to you.
2. The progress report signed by each teacher to ensure the baby was with them at all times in school.
3. The computer generated report on how well the student cared for the baby.
4. Students will chose from one of the following to present to the class - video, power point, poster, song, scrapbook, all with a one page paper.
Projects are worth 45 % of your grade. All projects are due one week after student takes the baby home for the night.

Benefits of Fitness Infographic Project
During the year you have been given assignments to gain knowledge in the benefits of sports and fitness. This project will allow you to use the articles as base knowledge to create an infographic.
To earn full credit for the project the following must be included:
1. Title of the Infographic
2. Pictures, quick profile and or quote of people who have done great things in the world of sports/fitness.
3. Facts about the benefits of the sport.
4. Must be neat, clear, and eye catching.
5. Original
6. Must use technology (easil.ly.com, powerpoint, word).
7. Handed in on time.
8. Your full name on the Bottom Left in 10 font.

Public Service Announcement Project
The PSA project will be based on a topic that is chosen in class. A PSA can be in the form of a video or powerpoint. It must be educational and contain statistics and have meaning. Information must be sited. The PSA must be handed in on time and emailed to Mrs. Smith, burned to a disk, or shared electronically.
